Balance Tank Clean

Issue: Balance Tank Clean Overdue
Project: The pool needed to be closed while this project was carried out due to the equipment needed pool side and for health and safety reasons..
Drained the Balance tank and carried out a full chemical clean, commissioned and handover over to client.

Filter Service
Location: Leicestershire

Issue: Sand going back to the pool
Project: Removed sand from filter and found the air bleed tube had snapped off causing the sand to pass through the pipework into the pool.
Repaired the tube and re-filled filter with new media.
Checked the heat exchanger for any blockages and cleaned.
All back up and running correctly.
Sauna Heater Elements Replaced
Location: Nottingham
Client: Commercial – Accor, Mercure Hotels
Issue: Sauna heater fault
Project: Removed damaged heater elements due to excessive water being poured on to the heater.
Replaced with new elements, tested, now back up and running.
Kuntze Neon Gas Detection System Installation Location
Location: Leicester
Client: Commercial – Bosworth Academy
Issue: Recommended from our servicing to minimise exposure to potential chemical mix fumes.
Project: Gas detection installed on the wall for staff to easily check on the system, the sensor installed near the detection point 30 cm’s from floor level.
A visible and audible alarm is in the plant room as well as outside the plant room to notify staff if an issue occurs.
Green to Clean By Poolgenix Ltd

Issue: Pool water turned green.
Project: Upon arrival it was clear to see the pool needed a thorough clean.
Cleaned the skimmer and pump baskets,
Backwashed the filter
Adjusted Ph levels
Added shock and floc treatment
Brushed down entire pool shell including fittings
Second visit vacuumed the pool and as you can see the results are there to see!
Heat Pump Installation
Location: Lincolnshire

Issue: Client called us to say the pool wasn’t heating throughout the winter months.
Project: After working out our clients desired temperature for the pool throughout all seasons we recommended a whacking 35 kw Inverter heat pump with WI-FI access on single phase!!
The pool temperature has reached desired temperature throughout all 4 seasons leaving our client extremely happy!
Filter Service

Client: Commercial – Oakham School Sports Centre
Issue: Filter media change overdue and tank in need of refurbishment.
Project: Drained filter and emptied 8 Tonne of media from tank.
Found the tank internally needed grit blasting, stripping back to remove old paint.
Replaced the laterals including new bulk head.
Re sealed the internal tank shell and added 8 Tonne of new media!
Not for the faint hearted!

Stunning Entertainment New Pool Build Carried Out By Poolgenix Ltd

Project: Poolgenix Ltd was contacted regarding a new pool build.
After a meeting with the client to decide the type of pool they was looking for and shown a picture from ‘Pinterest’ we worked out what was achievable and boy did we deliver!
The idea was to have an entertainment pool with a beached area along with steps and on site liner.
This pool has an LED light for those summer evenings lounging around the pool enjoying the view of a fantastic centrepiece.
The beautiful Touch Relax On-Site Liner from Aquaflex looks perfect for the sandy beach effect the client asked for.
Pool is 6m x 3m with a sloping depth from 1m x 1.4m skimmer pool.
Installed a Heat pump along with a chlorine tablet feeder and associated plant equipment makes this project a fantastic success
Pool and Steam Room Service

Project: Service work carried out for one of our clients looking after the pool and steam room keeping the facilities running perfectly on a monthly basis.
Pool Plant Refurbishment
Location: Derby
Client: Commercial – Reservoir Doggy Resort & Spa
Issue: Pool plant in need of refurbishment
Project: We was contacted by this company regarding the pool plant as it had leaking fittings and not fit for purpose.
After a discussion with the lovely owner of the company we talked about making moving the equipment to suit the existing connection points and making it easier for the client to maintain.
Replacing one pool pump, filter media, both multi ports and filter bulkheads all pipework and valves and adding a chlorine tablet feeder.
Also replaced the flow switch for the heating and filter lids and heating bypass system to turn this plant room into a fantastic refurbishment.
Pool Pump Issue
Location: Nottinghamshire
Client Residential
Issue: Pool pump wouldn’t gain prime only pulling air.
Project: After carrying out a pressure test on the pipework we found the Main Drain pipework on the suction side of the pump failed.
After digging out the area around the pipework we found the split on the pipework which was causing the pump issue.
Cut back the pipework and re-made the manifold to the pump with new valves and pipework.
Another satisfied customer.
Pool Plant Installation
Location: Nottingham
Client: Residential
Project: New build Installation for this indoor swimming pool.
Originally the pool plant was located the other side of the room and it was decided to create space the equipment would be better placed nearer the pool.
Installed the equipment, adding a chlorine tablet feeder, tested and all running perfectly.
Pool Filter Service
Location: Nottinghamshire
Client: Commercial – Ye Olde Bell Spa
Issue: Filter media going back to the spa.
Project: We was contacted by another pool company to carry out a filter repair.
Removed sand in both filters and found the bleed tube had disconnected from the hub inside the filter causing sand to get inside the pipework and work its way back to the spa.
We fixed the tube and refilled both filters with media .
A great job completed by Poolgenix Ltd.
Steam Generator Fault
Location: Grantham
Client: Commercial – Choices Health Club
Issue: Steam generator not producing steam
Project: We was contacted by our client needing a fast response to this issue to minimise downtime.
On site found the tank was heavily scaled and elements failed.
descaled tank and replaced elements now the steam room is working correctly.
Heat Retention Cover for this Indoor pool
Location: Nottingham
Client: Residential
Issue: Original cover worn and torn, straps broken and roller had no brackets.
Project: After sizing up the pool surface area we recommended this heat retention cover with leading edge and rope to pull the cover shut along with new straps and roller brackets as client had the roller on the floor with no way of rolling up the cover.
At the time of taking the picture of the installation, the pool water level was low.

Pool light installation
Location: Leicester
Client: Livingwell Hilton Hotel
Issue: Pool Light failure reported
Project: As you can see in the picture the light failed and cracked on the back of the light causing water to enter the LEDs.
Cut back the cable and re-made the connections and protected using heat shrink sleeve.

Poolgenix Ltd made the positive step to become an official dealership of the stunning Niveko Pool range.
Flying out to the Czech Republic to be introduced to the entire range of pools in the stunning showroom, outside pool examples, installations, specifications and generally absorbing huge amounts of information for Poolgenix Ltd to pass on to our clients was a fantastic experience and well looked after by Lewis Salvidge at HTP Group and Seppe Craenhals of Niveko.
Filter Media change Including New Laterals
Location: Leicester
Client: Commercial – The Winstanley School
Issue: School experienced filter media going back to the pool, causing outlets, heat exchanger blockage and sand on the pool floor
Project: Poolgenix Ltd was contacted as the Schools service provider to carry out a fast response to provide an estimate to remove the sand and replace the failed laterals along with new media on both filters which was causing the sand to go through the pipes back to the pool.
Pump Supplied and Installed By Poolgenix Ltd
Location: Northampton
Client: Commercial – Billing Aquadrome
Issue: One of the pool pumps tripping out on the control panel – Motor failure
Project: Upon inspection of the faulty pump we found the wires had burned out and in poor condition.
Isolated both wet sides of the pump, removed and installed new pump.
Cut back the wires and re-crimped the wires and fastened to the pump.
Now the pump is running correctly and site very happy with the fast turnaround.
